Summer Chorale (entering grades 4-7)

Summer Chorale singers will spend the morning learning choral music and vocal techniques with the aid of top-notch music educators, and spend afternoons gaining musical notation reading skills, and bonding through team building activities. The Summer Chorale focuses on repertoire appropriate for young treble voices, with emphasis on vocal technique, ear training, and choral rehearsal skills.

Summer Choral Intensive (entering grades 8-12 and '23 graduated seniors)

The South Shore Choral Intensive is a program that focuses on themes of acceptance, inclusion, leadership, and musical excellence. Students will be encouraged to prepare for the week with learning tools and aids provided by SSCC Staff in order to perform high-level choral repertoire. During the week students will also have the opportunity to attend sight-singing classes geared for their level of knowledge, hear from guest speakers such as local professors and professional musicians, and benefit from group sectionals and vocal technique class with a professional section leader of their specific voice type.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 for all singers is required upon registration for SSCC Summer.
