Heather O'Leary, President

Heather O'Leary has over 25 years of sales, marketing and strategic management experience, working primarily in higher education. Heather is a proud mom to two sons, one a graduate of SSCC in 2023 and the other a current member of SSCC’s Dynamic and Resonate choirs, who also participated in the inaugural year of Find Your Voice. Heather joined the Board of South Shore Children’s Chorus in 2022 to support the organization and its mission. Heather is Director of Graduate Admission and Suffolk University and holds a BS degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University and an MBA focusing in Marketing and Strategic Management from the University of California, Davis. Heather resides in Foxborough with her family.

Angela Card, Vice President

Angela is a Boston area transplant from Southern CA where she received an undergraduate degree in vocal performance from California Lutheran University. For 15 years post-college, she sang in community and professional choirs including the Angeles Chorale under UCLA professor Donald Neuen. Her most recent choral experience was as a founding member of Arete Vocal Ensemble in Thousand Oaks, CA under Dr. Wyant Morton. Professionally, Angela has worked in the life sciences industry for nearly 20 years. She has held leadership roles in business operations and program management for both large and start-up biotech. She also holds an MBA from California Lutheran University. Angela’s passion for choral singing led her to seek out a children’s choir for her youngest daughter, Logan who joined SSCC Amplify for the 2022-23 season. The experience was so overwhelmingly compelling that her oldest child, Finn, joined SSCC Dynamic in Fall of 2023. Angela is thrilled to share her time and talents with the SSCC board of directors.

Thomas Kelly, Treasurer

Tom is a seasoned financial professional with more than 40 years of experience working in both public and not-for-profit companies. He has also served as a volunteer on a number of not-for-profit boards in several states in New England. Tom holds a B.S. in accounting from Bentley University and an M.B.A. from Babson College. Tom is a lifelong resident of the South Shore and aside from his love of music, enjoys spending his leisure time boating, skiing and traveling with his wife, Mary, their children, children’s spouses, and grandchildren.

Nitsa Olivadoti, Secretary

Nitsa Olivadoti lives and writes south of Boston and is particularly fascinated with voices of growth and migration, central themes in her novels, Cicada Series and Finding Pia. Nitsa is a painter, yoga enthusiast, globetrotter, homesteader and supporter of the arts. @nitsacreates

Patricia (Tish) McMullin, JD

Ms. McMullin is currently the Executive Director of the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals and has enjoyed a long career in health care and advocacy for teaching hospitals, their clinicians and staff, and the patients they serve.  Prior to her career in health care, Tish worked in the Massachusetts Senate Committee on Ways and Means where she learned about the lawmaking process in Massachusetts.  Tish joined SSCC in May of 2023 because of her passion for music education and the unique, inclusive mission of SSCC and its support for children and adolescents from all backgrounds.  She is the proud aunt and friend of many beloved choristers who thrived during their time with the SSCC.  Ms. McMullin also serves on the Board of Boston MedFlight and is a longtime resident of Dorchester.

Kirstin Gray

Kirstin Gray has 20+ years of marketing and consulting experience working across a broad range of industries. In a volunteer capacity, Kirstin serves on the SSCC board, provides marketing assistance to the Neponset Valley Humane Society, and is a member of D.O.G. Bones, dog therapy group, through which she and her Leonberger make therapy visits to area skilled nursing facilities and schools. Kirstin has a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from Boston University, and an MBA and a Masters in International Management from Case Western University and Thunderbird School of Global Management. She resides in Sharon with her husband and two teenage kids. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, live music, reading, hiking, and kayaking.

Maria Laura Rodriguez

Maria Laura is original from Costa Rica and moved to the South Shore 7 years ago. She has more than 20+ years of experience working on different positions on large
corporations, which includes leading multidisciplinary teams on different locations in the US. Maria Laura has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Project
Management. She has been passionate about choral singing in college however never
pursued this opportunity until her daughter joined SSCC in the summer of 2021 in the Amplify class. She has not only learned about singing but has gotten to know a diverse environment that embraces her whole-self. Maria is excited to share her experience and diverse background with the organization.

Kathleen MacKinnon Blais

Kathleen, a native of Braintree, developed her passion for music through the vibrant music department in Braintree Public Schools. She earned her B.Mus in Vocal Performance from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford and an M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University. With over a decade of experience in non-profit development, Kathleen is currently a Project Manager in a Boston asset management firm and pursuing an M.B.A. back at Boston University to further enhance her skills in strategy and leadership. She lives in the Allston/Brighton area with her husband and is also passionate about long-distance running.

Laura Rotondo Canfield

Laura has been a resident of Foxboro MA for nearly 30 years, raising four amazing children and slowly building her life’s mission and dream.  Born and raised in MA, Laura grew up participating in Districts, All States and All Eastern choruses, so she understands just how transformative positive choral experiences can be.  In addition to being heavily involved in volunteer work, Laura has taught piano and voice lessons for over 25 years.  Along the way, Laura became a cantor at St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro, then became the Children’s Choir Director and is currently Music Director for the parish. Laura helped to build strong musical theater programs at all three Foxboro elementary Schools, as well as the middle and high school. After 15 years of directing musicals for the Foxboro schools, Laura created her own theater production company (LRC Stage Productions, LLC) in 2018.  When not practicing yoga, playing pickleball or enjoying her fifth child (her dog named Cassie), Laura loves sharing the joy and importance of music and theater arts with everyone she knows!
